Today's Results

Tuesday night in the Championship had big implications in the play offs at both ends of the table.

Atthe Excelsior, Airdrieonians battled to a 2 - 2 draw against Dunfermline.

The Diamonds might feel a bit aggrieved not to take all three points at home against a makeshift Pars side, especially after leading 2-0, but a point is a point and another nail in the Ross County coffin. For Dunfermline, it moves them into third spot, but they clearly had all eyes on that mouth watering Scottish Cup Semi FInal date with Falkirk at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Queen's Park had a tough night at home, falling 0 - 2 to a resurgent Raith Rovers. Raith are absolutely flying and that has set them up for a massive clash at Arbroath on Saturday as they look to catch the Lichties or rivals Dunfermline and snatch a late play off spot.

Current Standings & Implications

That draw for Dunfermline means they go 3rd, level on points with Arbroath but ahead on goal difference.

For Queen's Park, the defeat sees them drop to 7th, level on points with Ayr United but trailing on goal difference. They're only three points clear of the relegation playoff spot.

The big movers are undoubtedly Raith Rovers. This win, their third in a row, rockets them up to 5th place! They've put a bit of daylight between themselves and Ayr United, and are now firmly in the playoff hunt. What a turnaround.

Airdrieonians' draw keeps them in 9th, still looking nervously over their shoulder at Ross County in the automatic relegation spot. They need to start turning draws into wins, and fast.

Let's talk about Raith Rovers – three wins on the bounce, and they've suddenly found their form at the perfect time. They're looking like a real dark horse for the playoffs now. You love to see it!

The Championship action continues, and it doesn't get any easier! Airdrieonians face a massive test at home against second-placed Partick Thistle. Dunfermline have an absolute humdinger of a game, hosting league leaders St Johnstone – a real six-pointer for them. Queen's Park will be desperate for points as they travel away to Greenock Morton, while Raith Rovers will be looking to continue their superb run when they visit Arbroath.

Today's Results

Only one game in League One tonight, but it had massive implications at the top!

Peterhead hosted Inverness CT and unfortunately for the Blue Toon faithful, they fell to a 0 - 2 defeat. A professional performance from Caley Thistle sees them take a huge step towards the title.

Current Standings & Implications

This result is enormous for Inverness CT. They now sit top of League One, one point clear of Stenhousemuir. With only a few games left, every point is gold, and they've made a huge statement tonight. It's Caley's to lose now.

For Peterhead, this loss keeps them in 5th place, but they're now six points adrift of Queen of the South. Their form has seen their play off hopes die unfortunately but at least they won't be involved in any nonsense at the wrong end of the table.

On the flip side, Inverness CT are absolutely flying high, now unbeaten in a staggering 16 games! That's title-winning form right there, and they'll be full of confidence heading into the final stretch.
