adam4267
Where and why did exactly Hamas come about? Regardless, Israel has being doing the same thing to Palestinians long before they existed. Hamas offered Israel a 10 year ceasefire during the latest conflict. Yet Israel rejected that. What does that say about Israel? Yes and before them there was the PLO. Before them there was the Fedayeens. Before them there was the National Jihad. Before them there were rioters, and Arab militias, murdering Jews. The fact is all Hamas and their many predecessors want is an end to Jews living in Palestine. This has been going on since before Israel was even founded. From the Peel commission of 1937 to the Camp David Accords of 2000. That's why Palestinian leaders have rejected every peace agreement or partition plan - and that's why 60% of Palestinians believe the solution is one state, "from the river to the sea"

They want an end to occupation and the right of return. Also, the fact you ignored my last question is very telling. Your silence said it all. That's a much better way of getting a ten year ceasefire.

vikingTON
You can't seriously attain a ceasefire while one side builds settlements on fucking obviously occupied land like the West Bank; that does not condone the intifadas, which have actually harmed the Palestinian cause more than any other act, but it also means that Israel's arse-lickers need to account for their state's major responsibility for the conflict, acts that were ongoing for years prior to the 2000 outbreak of violence, yet uncontested due to the lack of support for Palestinian rights compared to Israel/US' key alliance. While the Israel/US alliance remains strong then there is no prospect of Palestinian nationalists achieving their goals. If the US ditches Israel or (more likely) Israel is transformed by its fascinating internal demographic struggle into an apartheid-Orthodox state and a majority Israeli-Arab population, then things will change decisively. Israel as a state could well survive but not as a declared 'Jewish' state, no more than the Crusader states of the Middle Ages lingered. Israel needs to be able to incorporate former, loosely-described 'Palestinians' into a vision of modern prosperity or the state will fail. Obviously then, every act of violence aimed against its Muslim population or its Arab neighbours is a spectacular ideological own goal; compared to the enormous potential of Tel-Aviv to entice those ambitious classes in the Levant into a relatively free, prosperous but surely secular Israeli society.
THE KING
How many times did Israel invade during the last two years when Hamas weren't attacking every day? You labelled them as terrorists earlier but now seem to be changing your tune, saying they're a "defence force" when it suits you. How can they invade if theyve never left?

Remember Fascist apologists like Adam will argue ,and have that Israel is a secular state,,,,,,, From yesterday....... BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday that Palestinian recognition of Israel as a "Jewish state" is "the minimal requirement for peace."

adam4267
Can someone please explain why it's wrong for Israel to be a Jewish state but it's fine for the UK to be a Christian state? -
THE KING
Can someone please explain why it's wrong for Israel to be a Jewish state but it's fine for the UK to be a Christian state? because the UK doesn't ban Muslims the right to come live here? Because the UK doesnt pretend that its a Christian holy land? Because the UK doesnt have aparthied laws for non Christians? Because the UK doesnt pretend Christians cant live in peace anywhere? Because a Christian population wasnt imposed on a indigenous religion? Because the UK doesnt use historical Christian persecution as an excuse for occupation/genocide Because the Uk government is of mixed religion unlike any Israeli government? Because the UK didnt treat Ireland like Palestian because of terrorists? Because we dont have segregated transport like Israel. Because We dont have segregated Schools like Isreal Because we dont have government ministers calling for genocide of other religions? Because we aren't running the worlds biggest concentration camp like Israel? Or we dont slaughter entire streets because a terrorists lived there? Or because we can have a Christian, jewish, Muslim, Priminister unlike Nazi Israel?

welshbairn
It says something about Britain that I never knew until some people complained about him recently in the Jewish Chronicle that our Leader of the Opposition is Jewish. Apparently he isn't being supportive enough to Israel.
