Lee Van Tee
Stephen Maguire really is on fire! Pretty much perfect first three frames.

pandarilla
Ding's got too much for Maguire. He's digging deep. That's a huge century clearance.
Trackdaybob
Great red that too. Fair play.
Vimto90
Going to be too much for Maguire now. Hope he at least wins a couple to make it interesting.
Trackdaybob
I agree.
Brummie Clyde
Find Ding so frustrating. A great player, but goes to pieces in the World Championship.Looking excellent in this though.
pandarilla
This is high quality stuff. Maguire basically needing to clear up to win frames. But he's rising to that challenge.
Trackdaybob
I think if Maguire can get to 8-7, he's in with a shout. Big ask though.
Trackdaybob
Some century from Ding there.
meanmistermustard
Saudi Arabia to host a new ranking tournament in October 2020 which will give the champion £500,000, the same as what the winner of the World Championships will get. Can see the UK Championship being less significant of an event in a few years, one reason being the change of format where it's little more than a glorified regular tour event due to the shortening of frames a few years back.
GiGi
Good win for Ding in a good match.
Brummie Clyde
Yeah saw that. Think China Open is now 3rd in terms of prize money. So presumably UK Open is the 4th best for your wallet?
GiGi
Sitting at the Scottish Open today and have just watched a really excellent Graham Dott granny Ding 4-0. O'Sullivan just pumped out Gould and Higgins snuck through against Higginson. Some good matches ahead for the 4th round which is tonight.

meanmistermustard
Ding's out. [emoji4] Selby too thankfully. Unfortunately, Carter put him out and I hate Carter. Also cannot stand Robertson and he's currently 4-1 up on Maguire. So many snooker players to detest.
