GiGi
O'Sullivan, then a long way back Trump and Carter after that.
JamieStevenson
Good effort from the guy trying the cough on the brown but Selby safely through.
meanmistermustard
I love watching Ronnie play but outside of that he can be an absolute p***k. Snooker will be far worse without him when we are left with little of much excitement to watch. Williams, Higgins and O'Sullivan will be gone in a year or two you'd think. Who is there currently playing who you'd be excited and willing to pay to watch? Currently 7-5 down and, certainly yesterday, he seemed to think to turn up would be enough and lost the session. Similar kind of approach this morning, where he is going for anything. About to be 8-5 down and looks certain to go out. Top 3 players not wanting to win? Selby, Allen and Trump.
meanmistermustard
On the other table it's Bingham v Dott with commentary from Ebdon and Taylor. f**k that for a living.
Bohemian
Think this could be the last time we see Ronnie at the world championship, more time to concentrate on his cook books..

I think he'll quit at the same time as Higgins and Williams and they will go on the senior tour. Means he can still moan at how shit the main tour is yet continue to proclaim his love of snooker. He's pulled one back, 8-6.
AndyRoss
Not watching today, but Cahill had an incredible number of chances against Ronnie yesterday.
AndyRoss
Just checked in and notice he's had a haircut since yesterday, looks like it's heading for a best of three. 10-8 O'Sullivan IMO.
FuzzyBear
Top 3 not wanting to win. O'Sullivan, Murphy or Higgins.
peasy23
Cahill misses a sitter to go 9-8 up.

peasy23
Ta ta Ronnie. As talented as he is, his attitude at times is dreadful. If he had anything close to Davis or Hendry's determination he would have won about a dozen world titles by now. Biggest shock ever in snooker.
meanmistermustard
All out attack by Ronnie and it failed. Can't play like that and leave your opponent on so much. Fair play to Cahill for taking his chances. Good chance of beating McGuire in the next round.
lichtie23
I bet he mentions retirement In his first interview
LeeVanTeeth
Maybe Ronnie can start up his exhibition tour for has-beens now. He'll never match Stephen Hendry's number of world championships now anyway.
zidane's child
Ronnie looked good at the start and he looked up for it, but it didn't last long. His attitude at times is dreadful though. I hope he doesn't retire as he's a big character in the sport. The boy Cahill looks a talent and could be one to watch for the next 4-5 years. meanmistermustard
Ronnie looked good in spurts but was going for anything and his game wasnt up for it to play in such a way. He looked exhausted and fed up during it and said he had no energy after but deserved to go out.
