No words....I'm quite keen on the history of WWII and for some reason it wasn't until I watched that episode that I realised the Allies had no clue such things existed. We're well aware of those horrors nowadays and to an extent are somewhat desensitised by it now. I can't begin to imagine how folk witnessing that felt. It was shot very well in the show. Spielberg and Hanks returning to produce, same writer aswell. Being made by Apple TV though not HBO so not sure how much that will affect production quality. AFCDannyFTH Posted September 10, 2021 Share Posted September 10, 2021 Have watched this series about 5 times. My favourite TV show of all time, it is fantastic and has aged incredibly well. Finished the audiobook a few days ago. It adds a fair bit of missed detail and is a very good listen/read. There is an abridged version also but I'd recommend the 13hr one.
