Talbot v Yoker in the Junior Cup final. Yoker did credit to themselves brilliant performance just ran out of steam. Talbot fans did their usual. Footy Adventures was there so be prepared for a sycophantic slavering fit for the jubilee weekend. c5e96310d7a09bcbbcfa3be2c6033824.jpg

Heriot Watt University 1-0 Livingston United (AET). Herriot Watt made heavy weather of winning King Cup final. Really should have won this in 90 minutes but a mixture of poor finishing and some good goal keeping  meant extra time was required. Thankfully it was a nice day as ended up walking to and from Armadale station.

Heriot-Watt University 1-0 Livingston United AET @ Central Park 🌱, Whitburn last Saturday. Heriot-Watt win the 119th King Cup 🏆 Final with a hugely contested goal ⚽️ against 10 men in extra time. A big offside call that video evidence showed the officials got spot on. Crowd 311.

Balfron Rovers 3-3 Buchlyvie United
Another game in the Forth and Endrick League. Very entertaining game, Balfron looked like they'd get the win over the line, but a late equaliser got the visitors a point.

Are they still doing a programme at Balfron @Marten?

Hurlford v Kilwinning in the West of Scotland Cup final at Cumnock. Hurlford had the better of it so far. Squaly weather but still a good game. Impressed with Townhead Park. Ed. Hulford dominate most of the game but in the end have to settle for a 3-2 win on penalties. I'm sure they won't mind

Also at Cumnock. Silly me, I got lost on the way there, but on climbing to the top of the Cairn Table in Muirkirk, I found my way again thanks to a helpful waymarker.

Hurlford won on penalties, Kilwinning managing to miss three out of five. Two red cards. Nice chicken & haggis pie.

Season 2021/22 done!

If you get lost in that area again they've done a great job with Glenbuck Hertiage Village. We'll worth a visit

Kilwinning Rangers 1-1 Hurlford United (Hurlford win 3-2 on penalties).

An excellent cup final. Hurlford went ahead early with Kilwinning coming back and equalising with 15 minutes to go. A wild rammy in the dying stages saw a red card for each team. Two fantastic saves from the Hurlford keeper in the shootout sees the trophy go back to Blair Park.

Nice to finally meet @Martenas well!
