Marten
Celtic Women 2-0 Hearts Women, after extra timeThe first of a double header at the Falkirk Stadium in the Scottish Women's Cup semi finals. Celtic were easily the better side but didn't finish their many chances. Hearts also deserve credit for defending well. In the second half of extra time Hearts were clearly exhausted and Celtic managed to score two goals in quick succession. Their win was deserved but they made it far too difficult for themselves.
Craig the Hunter
Bullwood AFC 1-2 FC Pather. West of Scotland Sunday Cup semi final at Renfrew. A feisty, enjoyable contest between two decent sides. Pather 2-0 up early in the second half but conceded a penalty and we're reduced to ten with 15 minutes to go which set up a frantic ending.
atfccfc
Went to both semi finals today. Glasgow City too strong for a physical Partick Thistle team in the end and ran out 3-1 winners. Very good crowd for the second match with a healthy support for both teams.
Marten
Glasgow City 3-1 Partick Thistle womenThe second game in today's double header was definitely the better one of the two. Both sides played well. The better team won in the end.

Enjoyable game, shame Bullwood didn't have a go much earlier. Pather played some decent stuff and posed greater threat, numbers 7 & 11 especially. After domination, the GK made some good saves late on, to stop the 'Bulls equalising. Niggly stuff with the crowd joining in, tremendous. Possible treble now on for FC Pather.
Crow
Newcastle United 0-1 Liverpool @ St James Park. Despite 5 changes the visitors make pretty light work of what had looked like a difficult fixture. A 19th minute Naby Keita strike the only goal with a number of further chances not taken. Crowd 52,281. Edited May 2 by Crow -

Jute
Getting less random as will be 4th visit but have tickets for Sunderland v Sheffield Wednesday on Friday. First attempt at getting new lumo service at 2308 which if it works means can avoid overnight stays for midweek games in Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. Going to try and get over to Edinburgh City v Dumbarton tonight as well.

That late Lumo looks like it could be really handy from London and the North East Jute.
Christophe
Runcorn Linnets 1-2 Marine Northern Premier League Play-Off Final 4th played 5th in Division 1 West as the two outsiders from the playoffs faced off for a spot in the league above on saturday. Linnets opened the scoring in the first few minutes but after that the chances were all Marine's. They were rewarded with a 71st minute equaliser and a 79th minute winner and Runcorn couldn't get back up for it. Got in nice and early due to the expected crowd and accidentally found myself in with the jubilant Marine fans as the rest of the crowd filed in. Brilliant scenes, lost my car keys in the limbs following the winner, which I didn't realise until I'd got back to the motor, luckily they were still on the terrace when I returned, though a bit trampled underfoot.
Christophe
I'd said on a previous post that each time I see the Linnets their crowd increases and it's followed to its natural conclusion here. A sell-out at 1,600 beating their previous best of 1,078. Great to see
Autistisches Nilpferd
Christ Rab. I don't post on here if I'm at a Clydebank game because I go to a few of them a year because of my dad. Give Liverpool a rest eh
Jute
Edinburgh City 4-1 Dumbarton. Great result for City which places them in fantastic position to make play off final. Entertaining game with City scoring some good goals. Some of Dumbarton’s finishing was woeful and they were of more danger to passing aircraft than they were to the City goal. Craig the Hunter
Drumchapel Amateurs 4-1 Wishaw HSFP. A really enjoyable game between two good sides. Drum scoring twice late on when Wishaw had gone all out to find the equaliser. Also have to say what a fantastic setup they have at Glenhead Park. Putting some of the ex juniors to shame with their facilities.
Marten
Kinnoull 3-2 Heriot-Watt UniversityAttendance: 55A very entertaining game for a neutral HWU took the lead early on, but the hosts scored 2 later in the first half so they were 2-1 up at half time. Early in the second half, HWU scored the equaliser. Kinnoull scored the winner midway through the second half. Both sides had a number of chances after that, but Kinnoull held on and got the win.
