Le Tout P'ti FC
Kilwinning Rangers 0 Clydebank 1. Took advantage of Scotrail's £12 offer to finally visit the Buffs new park. Sadly missed ICT's first win in over a decade but at least I was home for my tea. Featuring the Benburb grandstand following its big money move.
Craig fae the Vale
Clydebank Ladies 6-1 Motherwell Women Development. Not the highest standard game I've ever seen but a decent watch and there's definitely worse ways to spend a Sunday lunchtime.
Le Tout P'ti FC
Motherwell v Hibs.Decent first half, but always an uphill battle for Motherwell playing with ten men for 89 minutes.

Marten
Motherwell 1-2 HibsGreat atmosphere, Motherwell were up against it after the early red card. They did play well and didn't give up. Hibs should have decided the game sooner.

Haven't been for a couple of years.

Haven't been for a couple of years.Probably a half truth in there. The stand at Benburb was taken down recently, and I'd read on here somewhere that it was heading to Kilwinning. Benburb were building a wee shed in its place, perhaps? I don't know if that stand you saw at Kilwinning was one and the same. I suspect not, the Benburb stand may be coming in as an extension?Basically what I'm saying is: don't trust a word that comes out of my mouth on this matter, I'm no more informed than you! (And how often do people admit that on here when they're flanneling!)

Jute
Carlisle United 1-2 Newport County. Last time I attended a game here I never attended another football game for 15 months. Hopefully not be the same this time. County were better team by some way and should have won by more. If they can get some of injured players back they will be in with a shout of automatic promotion. Carlisle did not look as bad a team as their league position suggests. Edited March 15, 2022 by Jute
GroundhopScot
https://groundhopscot.wordpress.com/2022/03/16/club-43-279-blackburn-united/ Blackburn United 1-5 Linlithgow Rose A game won by the better side. First time at Blackburn and they have a fantastic setup but in the few times I've seen Linlithgow Rose that's the best I've seen them play. Write up is attached, give it a whirl
Craig fae the Vale
Vic Suite 4-1 Inverclyde Community United. Midweek football under the lights at Darroch Park in a cup semi final for the Greenock Welfare League. I say Darroch Park. Following Google Maps I was taken to what was definitely a football pitch, bit one with no lights, so definitely no game going ahead. A quick scan of Google Maps again and I found the cage I was looking for eventually. Game not much to write home about but a gorgeous night to be watching a game where two serviceable amateur teams put on a reasonable show.
Crow
Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool @ Emirates Stadium. A pretty even 1st half but Liverpool step it up and Diogo Jota Roberto Firmino with the goals in the 2nd half that secure the 3 points. Crowd 59,968. Desp
Couple of weeks late in posting but went to Oakwell to see Barnsley v Middlesbrough at the end of February. Sat at the back of the Main Stand in the old wooden benches. £28 a ticket, 16k plus crowd (5k of which were away fans) and a really enjoyable game of football which finished 3-2 to Barnsley. Jute
Edinburgh City 1-2 Stranraer. Too nice a night to sit in the house so headed to this. Stranraer totally dominated the first half and should have more than 2 up at half-time. City were a bit better in the second half and got a goal back but Stranraer never really looked in danger of losing the game.

Eednud
Adelaide University 3 Adelaide Omonia Cobras 2 aet. This was the first preliminary round of the South Australian section of this year’s Australia Cup (formerly the FFA Cup). Uni were promoted last season from State League 2 to State League 1 so they now have to play league games at a fully enclosed venue. That doesn’t matter in the Cup so back to the Uni grounds, It’s autumn here but it was 33C in Adelaide today. In fact it’s still 32.1 at 6.30pm. Uni were 2-0 up, Cobras had player sent off but score 2 in the last 30 minutes. Cobras had another player sent off early in extra time and Uni scored the winner. ETA: Fucked up league numbers unfucked. Edited March 19, 2022 by Eednud
