Took in St Peter's first game as a senior club at New Western Park this afternoon. They beat their amateur team 1-0 in a good, competitive game.

Big bonus of getting my first football pie in 15 months.

Only ever seen about half an hour of action there. Renfrew v Peasie in December 2019. Game abandoned after a huge punch-up. Sometimes wonder who got the points as Petershill were a goal up at the time.

Seems I'm stalking you ..happened across this game as well while my son trained on the astro.

Not sure what leagues the 2 play in, was told the Westcliff team was a second string. not sure how reliable that was but given they won 9-0 at the weekend it does seem a possible.

TBH there was more football on the ground than expected and for a "local" derby was a timid / well behaved affair, I cant remember a single card being shown.

My Man of the Match went to the westcliff # 14.

Westcliff play in the Greater Glasgow, but I'm not sure what division. Argyle play in the Sunday Central 1A. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a second string team, they were way off the pace in the second half.

Lesmahagow 3-2 Forth Wanderers.

First visit here, absolutely love this ground. If you terraced those slopes you could get 20,000 in no problem - but you wouldn't do that, it's the grassiest wonder of the world.

A curiously niggly game. If this is a friendly, I wouldn't like to see an unfriendly.

I know I said I was taking a break until Saturday, but I couldn't help myself when I saw the weather forecast and so tonight was my first visit to Craighead Park for Lesmahagow 0-1 Royal Albert.

Not much of a game to be honest, severely lacking in quality in both final thirds, although Gow missed about four great chances. But what a spectacular place to watch a game. Sitting on a hill after driving into the ground. Will definitely be back, bit gutted we're not scheduled to play them this season.

What's in the boxes? Looks too big for medals, is it crystal glasses or something? Happy meals?

Easily the best ground I've seen in Scotland at which you can watch a game from the comfort of your car. Wick is second, the rest nowhere.

A 20 nug share box each. If that don't make you give 110% on cup final day I don't know what will!

I believe they were engraved silver tankards

Glasgow City 0-0 Hibs Ladies at Broadwood this evening. Bit drab, but I've seen worse 0-0s

Do you know what the capacity limit was? I know it’s 500 as standard but you can apply for more in Level 2 areas.

I’ve ordered a ticket for the Glasgow City v Rangers game on Sunday and was wondering what to expect given they can win the league. Would’ve thought Broadwood could host more than 500 but not sure what crowds Glasgow City would normally expect for a game like that.
