Le Tout P'ti FC
Was you at the same game as Tweedmouth had most of the play and better chances Sure they did. Despite having neither most of the play nor the better chances, Thornton managed to score six goals. How lucky must they be?They also had a clear penalty shout at 4-3, hit the bar, and missed a few decent chances. It's a game of opinions. Mine is that the better team won today.
HibeeJibee
Thornton probably deserved to edge it over 120min IMO. They had a spell on top 2nd half and were better in extratime (despite down to 10-men and having had to sub their 'keeper). That said Tweedmouth missed 4 fine 1-on-1s and hit the woodwork twice, so it's not as if Thornton forcing several close shaves in defence and hitting the woodwork once demonstrate any kind of major dominance. I was glad the hosts got back into the game and took it into extra-time, as Thornton's goal to go 1-4 up was offside - I was standing right in line with it - but of course with no neutral linesman, the referee rightly couldn't have called it. Either team could've won... Tweedmouth should've made their numerical advantage count in additional 30mins.

Le Tout P'ti FC
Heriot-Watt University 1 Kinnoull 0 FT.Dramatic 91st minute penalty. Keeper saved it, but rebound scored.Quite enjoy watching Heriot-Watt. Play a nice passing game. Went into the adjacent grass pitch after the game to retrieve a ball. Took advantage of the opportunity to score a wonder strike into the goal. Those match balls are bloody heavy. I think I've torn a cruciate!
Craig fae the Vale
Caledonian Braves 2-2 East Stirlingshire in the Lowland League tonight. Dreadful first half, but picked up substantially after half time, with the hosts coming back from 2-0 down to earn a point.
Marten
Easthouses Lily 1-1 Oakley UnitedDecent ground, clearly a lot has been done to it recently as a lot looked new. The match was not the most exiting, but the second half the ref lost control of the game. Some fights on the pitch, managers nearly fighting with each other. Most of the game I stood behind the dug outs and the arguments between the managers provided great entertainment. How no red cards were shown still baffles me!

The transformation is incredible. In the relatively recent past that ground consisted of nothing more than a railing around the pitch. Every time I go back something new has been added. It's fantastic to see.

Le Tout P'ti FC
Not so random for me, but brilliant to see Dalkeith Thistle (from my former home town) beat Burntisland Shipyard AFC in the big Scottish Cup.Exciting 3-3 draw followed by a penalty shoot out. Dalkeith down to 10 men for most of the game, had led 3-1 but were pulled back and were clinging on.Great game!Away to Bankies in next round.

Last time I saw them they won the Scottish Junior Cup. A mighty fall into the Tier 8 abyss of Conference X. On 20/08/2021 at 21:45, HibeeJibee said: I actually did a doublecheck when compiling stats on EOSL clubs in the Scottish Cup as Bathgate unexpectedly had 1 game against them (they lost 3-1 to Lochee Utd in R1 in 2008-09). As you say they qualified having won the Junior Cup beating Shotts, Clydebank, Pollok and Cumnock along the way. They were relegated out of East Superleague in 2012, into districts in 2018, then eschewed EOSL while 24 other East junior clubs moved that year, 2 more in 2019, then another 8 in 2020. Having moved across this year they now sit 2nd bottom of the entire Scottish league system. On 22/08/2021 at 04:45, GordonS said: I look at the fate of Bathgate, Whitburn, Armadale and Fauldhouse, getting beat by Edinburgh College, Syngenta and the second best team in Bo'ness and think, there but for the grace of God... As recently as 2017 Fauldhouse were in the same division as Kelty. I'm thankful Linlithgow Rose's committee and members saw what way the wind was blowing and joined the EoS when they did. On 22/08/2021 at 21:58, HibeeJibee said: Having checked - Fauldhouse were the only club below Tay due to contest 2018-19's East Junior Superleague who didn't move that year. Fauldhouse have subsequently lost 8-1 at Cambuslang in a cup-tie, 4-2 at Livingston Utd, and today 9-0 at home to local rivals Whitburn. They join Bathgate sitting joint-2nd-bottom of entire league system. Edited September 4, 2021 by HibeeJibee

Marten
For most people on here this wouldn't be "random", but for me it kinda is. A double header for me yesterday. After having watched us at Broughty Athletic, I went to Hampden Park for Scotland 1-0 Moldova.
