Not many pics as the game was in Shettleston and I’ll be back for Glasgow United at some point.

Finnart 3-1 Glenvale

WOSFL Division 4

Didn’t really know what to expect here but Finnart played some excellent football. A joy to watch at times and could’ve easily justified winning by a bigger Margin.

Credit to Glenvale for staying in the game and had an unbelievable finish chopped off for offside with about 10 left (he was off to be fair).

Haven’t seen the other teams in this division play but it’ll take a very good team to beat them.

Shoutout to Craig Johnston for scoring directly from a corner (doubt I’ll see that very often on my travels) and assisting another.

2 wins in 2 for Finnart now

Heriot-Watt University 2 Newburgh 1 HT.

Game is zipping along at a fair pace, despite the temperature being 22oC at kick off.

Home team took a two goal lead and were good value for it, Newburgh scored a free kick just at HT.

Love the Oriam, the building looks amazing in this light. IMG_20210720_192227.jpegIMG_20210720_201633.jpegIMG_20210720_202016.jpeg

A much better ground than yesterday. I made a trip to Hannah Park in Shotts for the big game in Conference A of the WoSFL. Shotts Bon Accord 0-2 Arthurlie. Enjoyable evening, Arthurlie looked good, especially in the first half. IMG_20210721_195748.jpgIMG_20210721_200728.jpgIMG_20210721_200907.jpg

Tweedmouth Rangers 1-4 Edinburgh United. Another new ground for me. Pictures do not really show the slope on the pitch which is on of biggest I can remember. Nice ground all the same.

In Glasgow next week and hoping to take in a couple of games. Is it walk up now in the lower leagues or do you have to pre-book tickets?

Walk-up at (nearly) all of them.

Blantyre Vics 2-2 Hurlford. A well-earned draw by the home side who battled their way back for two goals down in the second half.

I felt sorry for those players that had been at work all day in this heat and then fought hard in a tough game. It was 27 degrees at kick off and still 24-25 when it ended.IMG_20210721_200009065.jpeg

As Marten says, walk-up is the norm. I always check the club's Twitter account, they almost always say what the entry conditions are...

Except for Lossiemouth who said nothing about one of their pre-season friendlies being behind closed doors, leading to a group of us watching over the wall.

0-0 draw between Columbus and Nashville. An exciting game overall but lacked that bit of quality. Fantastic stadium though

That looks nice stadium. What is the capacity?
