Finishing off a Rioja (Faustino) and will have a couple of beers.

This lockdown is definitely getting me on the drink earlier in the weekend than usual.

You buying it online?

I was using Beerwolf for a wee while but that has went downhill. Used to buy mixed cases. Brilliant.

I am living in Belgium, so just from the local supermarket.

When I was home for Christmas I did find it in a shop in Glasgow (being a Hearts fan I assume that is no use to you)

I found another online shop but not joined up yet. You like the Rochefort stuff? Beer from Belgium is the best, easy.

Is that a Williams' offering?

Yep. Got a from a wine shop in Portobello, only £1.70 a can. Don't know of any other stockists.

I don't know that particular one, but Aldi carry many Williams' beers.

Agreed that Belgian is easily the best. From speaking to Germans I know they are not happy about hearing that. To be honest I have had so much different beers here, it can be hard to remember some. I did enjoy the Rochefort 10 but obviously being 11% I don't drink that often. I might have had the 6 or 8 at some point but memory is fuzzy for obvious reason. I hope to try the westvleteren before I leave.

Discovered Rum and Ginger Beer at the weekend. My normal tipple is Whiskey but I enjoy a rum now and again.
Didn't fancy coke with it as Mount Gay seems sweeter so tried Ginger; on checking Google its apparently a thing.
You can taste both but they balance so well its like juice!

If you like that try dark rum and Crabbie’s

German beer is great but they have to take a back seat this time.

I was in Kazan, Russia for World cup and they had a Belgian beer bar and it had taps and taps of their beer. I have never seen a bar like it.  They had a menu for the beer from Belgium. It was brilliant, full of Belgium fans as well before they knocked Brazil out the cup.
