tinkerbelle
Tea, through a straw! Just had a tooth out and the old face is still numb. (My appointment really was at 2.30.)
carpetmonster
Bought this in Fort Lauderdale today - never heard of it before. Is it a real thing in Scotland or is it just for the colonials?
Derek Patterson
I saw that Tennent's stuff in the Spar in Erskine of all places a few months back but didn't investigate further. Worth a try? Currently enjoying a bottle of Long White Cloud by Tempest. Lovely South Island hopped IPA. Delightful.
carpetmonster
Dunno mate, shoved in the fridge at the moment. Sounds a bit like a cheapy Innis & Gunn, and I'm not so fond of that; not sure why I bothered buying it! Currently enjoying a Cigar City Jai Alai IPA, which if you're ever in FL or it appears in the UK is VERY worth buying. Not a big hop bomb, lots of tropical fruit, 7.5% and goes down like ginger. Derek Patterson
That's the impression I got when I saw it. Have heard the name Cigar City before. Will keep an eye out next time I'm in a decent peev shop.

Adam
McDonald's is grim at any time of day. What do you do that you're nightshift in Gala? Bound to be burying bodies. I spent a day in Galashiels a couple of years ago when we drew them in the Scottish Cup, grim as f**k.

jmothecat
Heineken. I picked a twelve pack as one of my 'pick your own offers' at Waitrose. Whilst I don't mind Heineken I've found myself in the position where I keep buying it because I want to make the most of the deal, rather than my usual preference of buying a few single bottles of different beers. I am saving money, but I'm getting pretty sick of Heineken.
