What Are You Drinking ?

Another check on the Eastern European beer tour with Baltika, from St Petersburg. It's slightly stronger than wife-beater but tastes quite good on first impression, quite smooth and a little bit of sweetness.

I have a bottle of Zwiec chilling in the freezer and maybe a bottle of Kriek for a treat later. Love me some kriek.

Something called Thwaites Champion Mild from Morrisons at £2.99 for four.

Described as "deliciously dark, bittersweet with a rich nutty finish.

I'm normally on John Smiths, Boddys or Belhaven, but the price of all these brews has jumped up to well over £4 for a fourpack

This Thwaites is okay - only 3.2% but it does have a decent flavour. I'd buy it again
