tongue_tied_danny
Actually, after the first few sips I got into the Drygate. A bit of a slow burner. Not as nice as the Orinoco coffee stout that they also make. The Brewdog poured really well. I wasn't expecting such a clearly defined head from a tin. It tastes okay but again is slightly too strong to be truly enjoyable. I'm glad I only got one of each.

I didn't realise when I bought them that the Drygate is 7.4% and the Brewdog is 9%. I've started on the Drygate but I'm not particularly enjoying it. A bit too strong. I tried the Drygate one a few months ago. I quite enjoyed what I had of it, but had a couple of pals round at the time and we'd been on the drink all day. Fell asleep on the couch before finishing the stout.

The Roaster Coaster is much smoother.

Aladdin
6 bottles of Furstenburg to be consumed tonight. Got one in a beer set over Xmas and forgot how good top quality lager is compared to mediocre ales and IPAs.

Marshmallo
2020 thread of the year off to a flyer over the first two months of 2021. I'm drinking a Dutch IPA called Bird of Prey out the Sub. It's like a hoppy lager - good! Edited February 26, 2021 by Marshmallo -
jimbaxters
To buck the beer trend, it was a boulevardier with Bulliet Bourbon as the base for me this evening.

Stellaboz
This might be the last Kolsch I have left to try. Rats Kolsch. Very, very tasty.
Stellaboz
I picked up this Spanish beer at my wife's work who get beers (and other groceries) that go slightly past their "best before date" to sell. It's okay. With honey and rosemary it should have a distinct flavour but it's missing something to make it different from everything else. From Spain, I'm guessing it's a good choice on a warm summer's evening there.
Stellaboz
This is a porter from Austria very close to the border near Munich. Very nice. Not too dusky and sweet enough for those who like a little fruity flavour.

Craig fae the Vale
Latest from Beer52. I'm not a huge fan of bitters, but this is alright.
