vikingTON
Seems out of character for Brewdog to launch a publicity stunt and make an arse of following up on their claims: they're normally such a stand-up outfit.
invergowrie arab
IPA evening for me with a wee 71 selection pack.
Archie McSquackle
A few favourites from Lidl and a couple of stronger tasting offerings as the night wore on ( including the whisky) as I wasn't getting the usual taste from them. Might need to keep an eye on the lack of taste).

Stellaboz
From Kempten down near the Austria/Swiss border between Munich and Lake Konstanz. 5.5% light beer, very decent.

tongue_tied_danny
I've started on my free cans of Brewdog Lost Lager. It's pretty insipid TBH. I won't be buying this again.

Honest_Man#1
Aye Man is good too, as @Marshmallo alluded to it’s eerily similar.

mizfit
5 years with the girlfriend on Tuesday. Got given a bottle of Highland Park Viking Glory. Yet to have a dram but it smells beautiful. Went out looking for a bottle of Glaswegin for her yesterday and came home with a crate of Bitburger. Went down very well last night I must say.

Had 3 of the 5 last night and all were really good, but the prices are fairly ludicrous tbh at £4 a can.

Class though eh They're talking about opening the brewery as a taproom this summer. Approximately 4 months to get myself into short and t-shirt shape and grow out the moustache. -
Archie McSquackle
That's probably cheaper than buying them direct from their website.

Sorry yeah I was meaning the general pricing, not specifically Beets.

Its hard to think of a can of beer in terms of "not meant to be sat and battered through" or at least it is to me. Two or three of them is, ABV wise in a lot of cases, the rough equivalent of a bottle of wine. I suppose they go down as a wee treat really. I find when I get a good beer I like my instinct is that I want to rattle of half a dozen of them.
Comrie
Finishing off what's left in the fridge. Tyskie is a perfectly solid lager. I'd probably prefer a Lech, but beggars can't be choosers. Edited February 7, 2021 by Comrie
