expatowner
Tasteless, with a whiff of weak piss. Really bad.
Mon_The_Fife
Tasteless, with a whiff of weak piss. Really bad. I take it you’re in Auckland too? I was at Urbanaut at the weekend, they have some decent beers, the Champagne Pilsner and Copacabana are 2 of my favourites.

I was asking @Bairnardothe other day if he was a big drinker or just had a few. Similarly, what is the point of one beer? I'd rather have none.

Bishop Briggs
Aldi's Cotes du Rhones Villages, Cuvee Reserve. A bargain at only £5.49 per bottle. Better than many at twice price. Recommended. Edited November 25, 2020 by Bishop Briggs
Craig fae the Vale
On annual leave this week and since I can't go anywhere, enjoying a few beers. This one is another cracker from Overtone

Eednud
Asahi Super Dry Black. A dark beer that doesn’t taste like one. It’s good stuff and worth trying if it’s available where you are.

vikingTON
The previously mentioned strawberry and passion fruit gose from 71 Brewing Co, which is an excellent change of pace after lager. A debut for Flor de Cana 12 rum awaits as well.
Archie McSquackle
Yeah, the strawberry and passion fruit gose is lovely. I had a couple out of a Beer 52 box and a few from Lidl last night. ABK Edel- nice crisp Bavarian lager.Bigger Boat from Vocation- really liked this IPA.Loch Lomond Southern Summit American Pale Ale - a bit bland for my taste. All The Fun Of The Citrus from 71 Brewing Co. - not sure about the lemon flavour, would have to try again. Winter Sunshine from Spey Valley Brewery- one of my recent favourites from Lidl.
