DA Baracus
Got this one from Tesco ages ago. Nice. Not as hoppy as the title would suggest, but very tasty.
DA Baracus
I noted earlier that Orkney has 3 breweries. This is from the brewery that had been around for ages. It is, of course, a tremendous beer. Red ales are among my favourite type of beer, so big fan of this.

DA Baracus
I've talked about subtle flavours, but there is nothing subtle about this one. It's exactly as advertised. A very strong orange flavour but still notable as an IPA. Delicious.
Trackdaybob
I've finished the Moretti. Starting with the Heineken.
DA Baracus
A Lidl purchase. Nice. Very floral. Lomond beers tend to be more floral in smell and flavour. Good stuff.

Adam
Absolutely love the design of this and the story on the back. Unfortunately it doesn't have any of the noted blackcurrant and mandarin notes that are, erm, noted. In actual fact this tastes very much like a wheat beer rather than an IPA. It's ok. Got it from Aldi they're currently doing a Scottish beers promotion.I picked up a bottle of this last week, couldn’t finish it, I thought it was barking. Agree about the wheat beer comment.

Ylf
Another effort from Aldi's Scottish beers promotion. It's a bit watery but at 3.7% that's to be expected. Of course at said percentage that's why it's a Session IPA.try the hazy ipa from stewart brewing. love it

Hillonearth
One that sounded so promising but ultimately was a bit meh - Barney's sherbet sour. I'd been quite surprised that the local Aldi had introduced a bunch of new stock, and I'd been looking forward to this one given the blurb about it being reminiscent of the dib-dabs and fountains of old. It doesn't taste of anything much...very slight Refreshersy tang on the finish and that's it.
Distant Doonhamer
Tonight’s tipple Please report back. Also, where did you get it from?Just on 1st glass now. Full bodied and fruity Chilean Merlot. Very decent. Around £10 from the Wine Society who have recently started delivering again.
