Another decent point for Carlisle. Still in the play off spots at 7th. Unbeaten in last 5 league games WWWDD. Pleasing.

Looking forward to the highlights. Carlisle goal sounds like a real howler of an OG.

“An absolute howler from keeper James McKeown gifted the away side a goal when Luke Waterfall, who had been pushed out wide, rolled the ball back towards his keeper with just 40 seconds on the second half clock. McKeown took a swipe, but it clipped off his boot and bobbled slowly and agonisingly, from his point of view, over the line”.

As reports had suggested the Carlisle equaliser was an absolute howler by the Grimsby keeper.

ETA: Rewatching the highlights, neither keeper exactly inspired confidence.

Carlisle drawn away to Hayes and Yeading United in the FA Cup first round.

That could be tricky enough, never fancy away matches against lower league/non league outfits.

There are quite a few games with non league teams at home to league sides but wonder if Hayes and Yeading v Carlisle might be picked as a game for TV.

2-1 now after 79 minutes.

Edit to add 3-1 now. Scored by Tanner, turned on a sixpence apparently

FT 3-1. Great start to the season. 17 points from 9 games and up to 4th in the league. Tricky away game at Exeter on Saturday (early kick off at 1pm.)

Good win for United.

And Barrow finally get a win, 4-2 at Mansfield.

I doubt it because we had the Dulwich Hamlet tie live last year, so would imagine they'd look to someone else. Also Carlisle were rotten at that time so there was a better chance of an upset.

Followed by league leaders Newport at home next Tuesday. Anything more than 2 points from these next two games and the season is looking very interesting indeed.

Excellent. I didnt factor in the possibility of so many games being shown live. £12.5k for the privilege too, £32.5k for the teams on BT, no bad.

Indeed like you I had no idea so many games were live. I notice Hampton and Richmond v Oldham is also live on BT and BBC digital platforms.  We had a great afternoon at "the Beavers" as they are known in February when they beat Hungerford Town 7-1.  The £32.5K will be most welcome at that level too.

Carlisle currently 1-0 down at Exeter after 60 mins and have just gone down to 10 men. Sounds like were very much in the game but stupid red card.

Lost 1-0. Disappointing but always going to be a tough game.
