Much easier to just become better mates with the refs than you already are than just not give away mountains of obvious penalties eh Ach, that's nothing. The Irish refs in the Pro 14 train with Leinster and Munster all the time then get to go out and ref them at the weekend. At least Barnes and Carley won't be doing that.

Therefore England receive 95 million, and the SRU less than half that. Effectively it's like a Premier Sports deal with Scottish football. CVC will insist that most of the 6 Nations games disappear behind a paywall and will try and squeeze as much from the RFU cash cow as they can get out of them. Whereas the 6 Nations countries apparently retain overall voting control (at the moment), there's no doubt at all that Scotland will be pushed further to the bottom of the pile.
Genuine Hibs Fan
Earls, Healy and Herring in for Ireland this Sunday. Healy and Earls always seem to have good games against us, big test for presumably Nel and in the air generally for our back three.
GAD
Scotland team. Doesn't look like there is much cover for 10 if anything happens to Finn. Johnson and Maitland both back and Nel in for Fagerson. Pretty much what you'd expect probably.
GAD
Other things I would moan about is that the bench looks quite weak to me. I don't know why you'd pick Gilchrist over Skinner. Assume Kebble is injured?
honestly united
Im assuming Hogg is the option to cover 10. You would assume Lang is a better option to cover 10/12/13 - although as he has dropped out completely assume he must be injured, and Skinner gives more options than Gilchrist - including being much better at 2nd row, other than Kebble not sure what else you would change though Edited March 12, 2021 by honestly united
John Lambies Doos
Earls get try in corner. Nap
Genuine Hibs Fan
Bench is a bit dodgy but good XV. Delighted Johnson is in, Laing might be the like for like replacement for Redpath but he's not international standard for me. Johnson is a talented enough all rounder to adapt his game to being more of a distributor than he maybe has usually been for Scotland. Ritchie and Maitland back is a massive boost, makes us substantially better at the breakdown and in the air which hopefully nullifies the Irish strengths a little.
GAD
Glasgow are such a shambles in defence.
Mark Connolly
That's a stick on yellow card, but how you can declare a probable try when the guy who was stopped from catching it is literally tackled instantly is beyond me.
GAD
Some of these knock one from Glasgow are unforgivable. They aren't even under pressure. 12-0, yet Ospreys have actually contributed nothing to the game.
GAD
Glasgow can't be far off double figures for penalties already.
Mark Connolly
Sums up Glasgow's season. Work their arses off for every yard, then daft penalties and poor decision making.

GAD
Refs made a total c**t of that. Very clearly dropped by Ospreys players on the wrong side.

I think he knew he'd been conned as I thought it was a penalty to Ospreys at the resulting scrum. Edited March 12, 2021 by GAD
