It would be pretty hypocritical of the SRU to call for a forfeit after their insistence at the last World Cup that games must played regardless of the circumstances.

They haven't called for a forfeit.

The poster above was, and I was pointing out why the SRU would be wrong to do so.
Where? If you are referring to me where did I say they had asked for one?

They are rightly pushing for it to go ahead on Saturday. With France having won both games then it might be other nations who push for France to forfeit the game.

Zander Fagerson's appeal was this afternoon, but the outcome seems to be taking a while. Fully expecting him to have it put back to the full 6 games rather than the 4 it was reduced to.

they will make the announcement hours before kickoff to get back at us

zander's appeal outcome will be out tomorrow now. Must need to get new batteries to calculate the new extended ban

Waiting to hear if the France game is on probably. If it is, it will count, if not, he'll get banned until the autumn when it gets rearranged.

Kelly Brown has left Glasgow, to return to London. Hopefully we get a decent addition as defence coach

His family weren't settled in Glasgow.  I wish him all the best.

However he was the breakdown coach though maybe he helped with defence too.  Against Ulster at the weekend we lost 2 tries indirectly from turnovers.  Our defence has generally been dozy too.

Our pack has been 2nd best in too many games this season.  Most notably at Exeter...

Embra through to the last 16 of the Champions Cup and Glasgow into the last 16 of the Challenge Cup. Draw is 9th March, obviously Edinbugh will get a tough draw, Racing 92, Leinster, Wasps, Bordeaux and Munster all guaranteed a home match so its either one of those away, or one of with Lyon, Toulouse, La Rochelle, Scarlets, Clermont Auvergne, Bristol, Exeter, Gloucester, Toulon and Sale and wouldn't fancy any of those either

Glasgow are a bit easier obviously London Irish, Ospreys and Leicester will each be guaranteed a home fixture, with the other teams being Cardiff Blues, Zebre, Agen, Benetton, Newcastle Falcons, Ulster, Connacht, Northampton Saints, Bath, Montpellier, Dragons, and Harlequins. With the Internationals back and a bit of form and a decent draw Glasgow could do quite well.
