Mark Connolly
The drop goal has changed the game. If they had held onto the ball and scored a try, Samoa would have been shitting themselves. They pretty much let them off the hook.
Savage Henry
We really should beat this Samoa team, whichever ones are left after this....I dunno - Matt Taylor’s apparent defensive nous may give Samoa an advantage. Scotland’s soft centre could be a key. I wouldn’t say it’s a gimmie at all

flyingscot
Russia and Samoa should be walk overs. George Horne will have a field day sniping that Russian defence

Savage Henry is right about Samoa sending crash balls up the middle and round the fringe defence against us, it's worked for them the last couple of times we played them. They don't look very disciplined though, and I reckon at least one of those yellow cards is going to be upgraded to a red.

Mark Connolly
Uruguay are playing really well here. For once, insomnia has worked in my favour.

Mark Connolly
I really want Fiji to pap Wales out, but Uruguay deserve no less than a win here.

Mark Connolly
It would be easy to say Fiji have been pish, which they have, but they have been forced into it by the fact that the Uruguayans' defence has been brilliantly organised, and they have made almost every tackle. Absolutely sensational from Uruguay.
SlipperyP
Fijis kicks were school boy shite. \well played Uruguay, thoroughly deserved.
peasy23
Fiji almost certainly going home early after that result.
Donathan
Fiji might well finish bottom of the group. The Pacific island teams have gone seriously backwards and yet the IRB will still gerrymander qualifying to get them all into the next WC [emoji849]
Savage Henry
At the risk of sounding a bit Radio 5 Live Reactionary Caller, the Scottish team should be made to watch the interview with the Uruguay captain after the game. Or at least Townsend should. Scotland had even longer to prepare for that Ireland game, and yet they didn’t show up.
Swarley
Fuxake Fiji. That result will be treated like a death in the family across the entire country.
