Now the dust has settled, its clear to see that GT has taken this team as far as he can. Too much bluff and bluster from us, coupled with too many pre madonnas that would benefit from stricter NZ type coaching.
Hands need to be put up here and ownership is needed. People like Hogg saying thats not us etc etc is just bullshit. News for you Hogg it is us and its been us for several years. Hogg is a magnificent player but is prone to a couple of key clutch mistakes every game.
Unfortunately we have a small playing pool so some of our players just turn up every game expecting to play - this leads to a poor uncompetitive culture.
Undoubtedly we have some great talent at our disposal but GT isn't getting the best out of them and has made some ridiculous decisions over the years and has lost players respect.
As much as I despise the Irish pundits they do have some valid points, could you imagine Sexton, Henshaw and Conway putting two fingers up to Farrell like our lads did - it just would not happen.
Scott Robertson has been with crusaders since 2017, he's still a young man, let's approach him, he may fancy a new challenge? I know its not ideal with WC next November. but if we stick with GT, then the definition of insanity will rear its head next year and we will be downed by Ireland yet again in Group stages and meekly exit.
Onwards and hopefully upwards....

One of the points made on the radio yesterday was that a team who considered themselves serious title contenders wouldn't have been "ripping the arse out of it" just because they had beat England. Serious teams on a 6 day turnaround between games would have had a couple of beers, then get ready to work their arses off to win again the next week. Instead we turn up in Cardiff against the poorest Welsh team in ages but absolutely shit the bed as standard.

I do think Toony's time is up, but as long as the mindset of the senior players is that beating only England is everything, then we are fucked no matter who the head coach is.
