That had to be an England scrum.

French refs killing England in revenge for that farce in the Autumn Cup and the Champions Cup final?

It was the correct decision. Although the maul formed immediately from Itoje fielding a kick, that rule only applies to kicks in open play. From kick-off or dropout (or even a kick at goal, although that's highly unlikely), if you're held up, you lose possession.

Jamie Heaslip taking issue with Lawrence Dellaligo about a Ferrell roll after an attempted tackle and saying that the rules are there for a reason!! Jamie fucking Heaslip who spent his whole career belly flopping on to and sealing off rucks and generally cheating like a fucker.

Another really technical rule, but it's ok

Quote

Once the ball has been thrown in by a team-mate, players who are not participating in the lineout may move forward. If that occurs, then their opponents may also move forward. If the ball does not go beyond the 15-metre line, the players will not be liable to sanction if they immediately retire to their respective offside lines.

He's allowed to move forward as his team threw it in, and the ball went over the 15
