As well as this guy they have signed Andrew Davidson (lock), Jamie Dobie (9), Charlie Caps and George Thornton (both loose heads). To push on from last season they need to add some more quality in the backrow and back three. Edited June 26, 2019 by Detournement

Agree we could do with a bit more in the back row, and another full back as we only have Jackson at the moment - we've got plenty of options on the wing as it is Seymour, DTH, Jones, Hughes, Matawalu, Steyn plus a few others
ajwffc
The people of New Zealand (+Australia, Argentina, South Africa and Japan) will get to witness Gatlandball first hand as he agrees to join the Chiefs(lucky them) as manager. Also Scotland born scrum half/halfback Finlay Christie will be joining the Blues.
ajwffc
watching the Jaguares v the Brumbies (34-7 after 65min) at the Australian commentators(Greg Clark, Tim Horan and Stephen Hoiles) are showing their knowledge of world of rugby. The Pro 14 is now the Irish Premiership and they cant pronounce Jaguares Edit to add at least they did not do their normal trick and swap the score order at the top (instead of home then away it goes defending the left then defending the right) Edited June 29, 2019 by ajwffc

Detournement
The Crusaders win their semi with some more ref help. Good game. Saracens would crush the Crusaders.

honestly united
I thought he was still contracted to Newcastle, unless he had some sort of relegation release clause, as im sure he originally went on loan, which then became permanent.Wonder if it's more to be seen to be playing at a high level rather than second tier?

Detournement
Brive will be paying more than Newcastle. It's a nice bit of the world as well.
afca32
Brive weren't going to give more than a 1 year deal out to a player at 31 with such a bad injury record. It's a great move for him, if (and it's a big if) he can stay fit he should do well. Edited July 1, 2019 by afca32

Salvo Montalbano
Had a tour of murrayfield today well worth the money at £12.What is the detail on the plaque? I take it it's famous fly halves but what are the dates about, do you know?
