The Naitch
Jenkins takes it 17-12 so at least Bristow's charity bet came up trumps.
DomDom
I made it through a match and noted all of it ! That might be an actual first there. That match wasn't very enjoyable as there only seemed to be one winner from start to finish. Here's hoping King can annoy Taylor enough to put him off his game and give us a decent semi.
DomDom
Slow start from Mervyn King there, but he has gotten into a groove. He would have had to have broken Taylor anyways, so his task is the same as it was at the start of the match, so he won't be feeling too much pressure at the moment. Phil Taylor is throwing a few wayward darts which obviously won't happen for the rest of the match, but if King can take advantage now, he may well cause an upset. 3-2 Taylor and a break up for the Power.

The Naitch
Pyke called it right. Significant break of throw from Taylor to make it 8-5.
The Naitch
Another significant break as Phil goes 11-6 up.
DomDom
Mervyn King looks like he's playing in the Sahara Desert.
The Naitch
Taylor has won eight of the last ten legs and has really found his rhythm. King just doesn't know how to respond tonight.
RedWeb
Mervyn King looks like he's playing in the Sahara Desert. Aye..it looks as if he's about to have a heart attack. I know it's hot but he looks like he needs an ice bath and oxygen.
The Naitch
...and there we have it. Comprehensive 17-6 victory for the master.
DomDom
What a miserable couple of semi finals there. I hope to god Jenkins does a number on Taylor. Certainly wouldn't be the first time.
northernscum
Why are Sky Sports so desperate for there to be a problem between Taylor & King? Are they so desperate to make a "Box office" match out of what ended up a one sided run of the mill match. They are both professional sportsmen which was proven at the end of the match and during Taylors interview when both guys seemed to be fine with each other. Get a grip Sky.
The Naitch
Good post match interview with Taylor, though he took his name dropping antics to a whole new level tonight with Linford Christie, Stanley Matthews and Steve Redgrave all getting a mention!

In the Premier League, the week after King threw over the top of Taylor, Taylor said they didn't have a problem with each other. There was a real rivalry for a maximum of seven days.
northernscum
This seems to be one of the most interesting interviews he has done for a long while, not the usual inane drivel about how good all the up & coming players are and how he has to keep improving to stay ahead. As for Mervyn King, i used to think he was a bit of a bellend as well but he seems to be coming across a bit more amiable nowadays. Put it this way, prefer his style to that embarassing clown Mardle,he is becoming a parody of himself
The Naitch
Well, here we go.... can Jenkins break his final duck? I doubt it given the phenomenal form that Taylor is in. 18-11 win for Taylor I reckon.
Gaviano
I'd love Tucker to win, but once he starts mafting it's Phil all the way, isn't it.
Neilly
Really hope Jenks can make some sort of a game of it but Taylor is just too hot at the minute I fear. 18-12 Taylor.
The Naitch
Decent start to the contest with three 100+ checkouts between the two of them though Taylor has raced into a 4-1 lead.
The Naitch
Taylor is just peppering that T20 for fun tonight. A pleasure to see.
