He didn't have to be good to win and he wasn't, but it's the first round and he'll move up a few gears as it progresses. The O'Shea match was shockingly bad. Twelve darts between to take out double 1 was embarassing. I quite liked the look of Stone today, he looked like he's a decent player. tigerton Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) Brilliant to see Gary Stone win 3-0. I've seen him play a few local competitions in and around Greenock, and he is excellent. Camera work has bee woeful though, are ESPN in charge of it this year? They keep reverting away from the traditional split screen, instead they are showing the player, then the dart in the board. Are you talking about the dutch guy and the welsh guy They really were horrendous. Number one attribute of a score caller should be that your accent doesn't grate with the watching audience.
