peasy23
Rahm in the clubhouse on 16 under. 29 coming home with a bogey on the 15th. He's got a 3 shit cushion over the guys still on the course but the way the scoring has been going that might not be enough.

peasy23
I’m playing it for the first time on Friday, looking forward to it. Any tips!?Greens had a bit of work done the other week but are well on the road to recovery now, should be fine by Friday. Stay out the deep rough, it's horrendous in places. You don't have to hit driver all the time, a few short(ish) par 4s where being on the fairway can be better than distance. E.g. the 3rd is about 330 yards, if you hit driver then you can leave yourself a daft 3/4 shot uphill over a bunker, better off being middle of the fairway and having a full wedge to play imo.
Clockwork
That’s an absolute monster of a drive down the Par 4 11th from McIlroy!!

Will report back on how I fared. I might still hit a driver at the third. Hitting a good one will leave me 200yds to the green.
peasy23
Sore finish for Grant Forrest playing the last 2 par 5s in 12 shots. Will have cost himself a right few quid and points with that double bogey on the last.
peasy23
The cruellest twist in golf imo. It's happened to me twice, admittedly for eagle 2s rather than a hole in one. One of them was on the 16th at Bishopbriggs, and to add insult to injury the ball came shooting back off the pin into the burn. Clockwork
Wonderful stuff from Shane Lowry at Wentworth a faultless performance -17 (65). Surely enough to clinch it now?
Clockwork
Wow, some finish, McIlroy couldn’t have gone closer for an Eagle 3 on the 18th to force the playoff. Lowry wins.

Surely enough to clinch it now? It's not always just about the birdies and eagles, it's the shots you don't drop that matter just as much. 3 rounds without dropping a shot is superb stuff. Rory dropped one shot today, after missing the fairway on 8 with an iron off the tee, a criminal mistake at this level.

Jamie_Beatson
I haven’t played a card at my club for weeks but have been playing pretty well in bounce games myself in the interim. As such my official handicap is still 22.4. Today’s score.. Heres hoping I keep that up in my next proper round!
