Tbh I hope it is a record shagging tonight. USA have almost always had the best players but we've often won because we play better as a team. No so this time. We need to reasses the amount of captain's picks, how the points are allocated and how the captaincy shouldn't be about "giving people a turn". Get a leader in there not diddies like Faldo, McGinley, Clarke and Harrington.

Can’t stand McGinley as a pundit but he was a superb captain in 2014.

All time humping
Harrington must be a factor
As well as stricker
Stricker has done a very different job than previous captains in downplaying it, where previous captains brought in army generals and the like to get them on a "war" footing, he kept the likes of that well away and just concentrated on playing golf.

Iv got it on mute. Why’s he crying?

Pretty much saying he wished he’d been able to do more for the team this week, loves his team mates etc etc. Probably a lot of relief at getting a point after being honking the first two days.

I actually felt pretty sorry for him listening to him there.

Same for me, we all know what he is capable of but he was nowhere near it this week. I think one of Harrington's many mistakes was putting him out in foursomes. Should just have used him in fourballs where there was an outside chance of him catching fire playing his own ball.

He needs to go away and take a long hard look at what he wants to do with the rest of his career and how he wants to do it.

The way he's going he's becoming totally irrelevant when it comes to the big players in golf.

Maybe the birth of his kid has been more a factor than he thought.
