Mark Connolly
Well this is going well. The Aussies could do with a couple of those bats that are as wide as the stumps.
WullieBroonIsGod
I love test cricket but a one sided affair like this is pretty boring. Hoping Clarke can get a decent score here and Khawaja and/or Smith can pay well and at least have something to build some confidence on. Their bowling line up is decent but the batsman are just not giving them a hope. Oh for a Mike Hussey or a Ricky Ponting.

Yesterday afternoon was really one appreciated best by the purists (and I'm not one) but this morning has been an enjoyable listen on TMS.
WullieBroonIsGod
I guess it's just the inevitability. Don't get me wrong I'm sat on my farter watching every ball but its a mismatch out there. Swann tormenting the left handers!
WullieBroonIsGod
Khawaja and Clarke have both got starts here. Must make the most of this.
Highlandmagyar
Living dangerously! Swann causing problems.
lau03143
30 runs in just a few overs after lunch is quite good. Still don't think they'll reach the 583 target by the end of the day tomorrow. The start of this Australian Innings. Is quite similar to the England one, 3 wickets while still about the 30 runs mark, now the batters just keep on grinding out the runs.
WullieBroonIsGod
Swann really ripping it! Agar didn't get as near as much. You have to wonder if Lyon will get the nod for Old Trafford
AberdeenBud
The Aussies will fold like a cheap deckchair once Clarke has gone.
AberdeenBud
Can't believe Watto was 2/1 for LBW? Over half of his Test dismissals have been leg before.
WullieBroonIsGod
Can't believe Watto was 2/1 for LBW? Over half of his Test dismissals have been leg before. And England know it, so they target him. The decision to review the one in the first innings was very strange.
peasy23
Can't believe Watto was 2/1 for LBW? Over half of his Test dismissals have been leg before. Though I heard them say that 8 of his last 10 dismissals were LBW?
