Australian cricket awards night tonight. Picture of the winners. One has one and the other is one.

Quite impressive that despite his awful ashes, Warner still finishes the year averaging 70 in all international formats. A marmite character certainly, but his record in Australia is absolutely phenomenal. Cummins may feel a bit aggrieved at not winning the AB Medal, but the voting format doesn’t really suit him IMO. Great seeing Labuschagne get Test player of the yea, seems a great bloke and will be a massive player for Aus in the coming years.

Bit of a stitch up that the cheat won by 1 point from the other cheat. Quite a few people over here not impressed with the result. Elysse Perry usually looks a lot better but guess standing beside a little turd doesn’t help.

So looking like sibley, Crawley, jennings, root, stokes, pope and foakes for a top 7? Actually don't mind the idea of Jennings at 3, he averages over 44 in Asia and that was as an opener. But, if it's about playing the long game and getting ready for an ashes series down under don't really see what he brings to the table

Matt Renshaw the latest Australian cricket to take a break from the game. Can’t be easy going from opening the batting for your country, to being dropped at state level within about 2 years. Still only 23, so plenty time for him to recharge and come back in a better place.

Looked like a no ball that got Morgan out, surprised it wasn't overturned by the third umpire.

I wasn't. The picture want conclusive, I think the back of his boot might have been half a millimetre behind the line. Certainly not enough evidence to make a no ball call, imo.
