BTW everyone vote for Stokes this year to upset the gammonistas. Can’t be having the egg chaser, fake yank driver or those runners winning it.

Yeah the gammons will be seething if the white cricketer with a history of violence wins ahead of the black woman.

A Kiwi cricketer that has a record of being a bit of a c**t winning will definitely bring out some gammon seethe from the public and journos. You’ll have negative stories of him everywhere, like what the British media likes to do to all their succesful sportspeople that don’t get in line and do everything perfectly.

They were fucking seething when Tyson Fury was only nominated.

They aren't good despite all the hype. Shouldn't have won the World Cup in home conditions but got an incorrect umpiring call to take it to the Super Over, then should have lost a home Ashes series to a pretty poor Australia and but for Smith having to sit out one test and one great knock from Stokes (as well as an awful bit of Glovework by Paine missing the run out) would have lost convincingly.

I'm not sure why a team is "unlucky" if they don't field properly. Their top batsman missed one match, and his replacement played well. England were unlucky with injuries with Anderson missing the whole series. A drawn series was about right.

Root chronically under bowls himself. He’s far better than a dibbly-dobbly Atherton bowler.

I completely agree with this. He doesn't offer great control, but he's a genuine wicket taking threat.

NZ currently 43/2. Woakes got Williamson to nick to slip with a great ball. Selection paid off already.

Was a struggle for England after that, with Taylor reaching 50 and Latham 100. Taylor went the next ball after reaching his half ton though, edging Woakes to Root at slip. Stokes only bowled a couple of overs and appears to have a knee injury, England would probably be quite happy for the rain to come on with the Kiwis at 173-3.

The forecast is pretty poor for days 4 and 5 so even this mob can scrape a draw.

Meanwhile in Adelaide it's going to rain for circa 5 days which should mean Pakistan only lose by 9 wickets.
