Savage Henry
The apocalypse would truly have been here if mitch Marsh had a 5 for and Sam Curran a hat trick in the same testIf Sam Curran could bowl like that more regularly, he’d be a legitimate strike bowler. That last LBW is unplayable.
peasy23
If Sam Curran could bowl like that more regularly, he’d be a legitimate strike bowler. That last LBW is unplayable. He's getting some amount of movement in the air, 2 more lbw shouts in that over but the ball had done too much. Only downside is the lack of pace if it's not swinging, but it does show the impact having a left handed bowler can have. Felt in the last test that all England's bowlers were too similar, especially with Archer bowling at much the same speed as Broad.

There's no middle ground. Brilliant or expensive.
jaggyness
Got to knock off these last two wickets pronto. Pleased Woakes has a wicket, and a huge one at that.
Sir Tarmo Kink
This has turned heavily in favour of England. If they can manage not to throw away some stupid af wickets tomorrow morning then England have a real chance of winning.
peasy23
It would just be so typically England to destroy the middle order, then let the tail add 40-50 runs for the last couple of wickets.

peasy23
Ooft. Stunning diving catch by Burns to get Siddle, and a 6th wicket for Archer. England will have 3 or 4 overs to negotiate.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Zimbabwe batsman Ryan Burl has just his Shakib Al Hasan for 30 in an over. 3 sixes and 3 fours.

dorlomin
We need a new law for test series, in event of a drawn series the trophy goes to the team with most successful DRS reviews.
pandarilla
Why have they not brought in the rule about the toss going to alternate teams (obviously after doing the first one as it stands just now)? That seems like the most sensible rule change ever, and takes some of the luck of the toss out the game.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Great 94 by Denly who surely will get some credit now. Stokes did well while he lasted but once again a terrible performance by Bairstow who is lucky to still be in the side.

Make it so the away team get the toss in the first test, alternate from there. Although I suppose home teams could then manipulate how pitches are prepared for the games they have the toss.
