DeeTillEhDeh
Payne is struggling against Archer. Left the ball and almost got his stumps. Edited August 18, 2019 by DeeTillEhDeh

DeeTillEhDeh
Makes you wonder why they didn't start Archer in the first test - his pace is utterly frightening.
DeeTillEhDeh
Head almost run out - Australia are rattled.
Savage Henry
Quite the debut for Archer. He’s a real talent, and the Australians are not keen on his stuff. Excellent to see.

Savage Henry
Enthralling match, fair result I would say.I reckon England won more sessions than they lost there. Definitely had the better of the second innings.
Mark Connolly
Aggers on TMS calling it "a winning draw" for England
Sir Tarmo Kink
Never really looked like a result for quite a while now and a draw is probably fair. If Smith isn’t back for Headingley I could see it being 1-1 after 3.Meanwhile, Scotland absolutely fucked Oman by 85 runs with Hamza Tahir getting a five-for.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Interesting to see what happens with Roy at Headingley. He’s been shit for England in Tests (apart from his 70 odd against Ireland where he technically came in at 3) and there’s nothing to lose by trying somebody else opening with Burns.

That’s what they usually do. I don’t think he’s been quite as bad as has been made out. A 50 should cement his place for a while. At least Burns looks steady.
peasy23
Little overuse of Archer, here?
peasy23
Be interesting to see what England do with their bowling attack once everyone, and specifically Anderson, is fit again. They can't leave Archer out now.
Savage Henry
He seems like a good guy, doesn’t he?Thought it was great to see England playing some seriously hard-nosed cricket. They’ve got a seriously good attack to choose from, and Archer’s really added a bit of edge. He gave a couple of those Aussies a right going over, and that’s something we haven’t seen since Flintoff. Warner and Bancroft both looked utterly overmatched. A fit Anderson and a fit Archer, and a confident Broad, and then Woakes and Stokes. You have to like that. It’d be great for Ali to find some form, because that allows you to play all of them at once.
peasy23
Unchanged squad for England for Headingley, and I can't see them changing the team as I don't really see where Curran fits in, unless they decide not to have a spinner. Think that would be harsh on Leach as he bowled well yesterday.
