jaggyness
If wood and archer are both out of the first test do we think that makes it likely the Aussies take a lead into the second test?

Sir Tarmo Kink
I understand they want to have a look at people but 5 seamers combined with the inexperienced batting? [emoji848]Obviously a lot of injuries like Archer, Wood, Anderson etc and Buttler and Stokes rested so it’ll look a lot different for the Ashes I suppose.
Guest Moomintroll
I understand they want to have a look at people but 5 seamers combined with the inexperienced batting? [emoji848]Only 4 seamers there, I was sent a team yesterday that had Gregory in ahead of Leach which would have made far more sense. Given that Joes Denly & Root (who is a massively underrated bowler) are there to give Mo spin back up, I have no idea why they lengthened the tail by picking him instead.

Guest Moomintroll
Looking at the forecast for tomorrow with temperatures predicted to peak at 38, this will be as much a test of the Irish teams mental acuity combined with the physical demands. England are now into the battle hardened players, Root, Bairstow, Ali & Woakes. This is going to be interesting but the Aussies will be watching that top order with undisguised glee.
Guest Moomintroll
This looks like some form of mind game directed at the Aussies but I am not really sure what Bairstow is trying to pull there.

Guest Moomintroll
Tim Murtagh is just taking the piss now, ordinary First Class batsman can mostly keep him out although he has had a very good career but England are just folding at his mastery of the slope.
