Looks like they’re anchoring in for the afternoon session.

Have recovered well to be fair to them, not exactly piling the runs one but at least they haven't collapsed. Kiwis absolutely coasting the other game.

Savage Henry
Well done Bangladesh. There's absolutely no excuse for not expanding the tournament.

Afghanistan will, at some point replicate them, and any of the associate members could. Initially it might be ugly, but still, a great result. Delighted for them (see Japan, rugby union for further explanation).

Bangladesh put up a highly competitive score and defended it superbly.
Fuctifano
Not on here admittedly but still seems folk see Bangladesh as cannon fodder, this hasn't been the case in white ball cricket for a few years, and even in Tests they're more than competent in Asian conditions, and being pish away from home in the 5 day game doesn't apply only to them. Shakib is the fastest player in terms of games to 5000 ODI runs and 250 wickets, Tamim Iqbal would get in pretty much any other international side somewhere in the top 6, and Mustafizur is brilliant. We should have beaten them in 1999 tho

Guest Moomintroll
Shakib Al Hasan is a great player. He’s arguably the best all-rounder in all 3 formats. Can't argue with that, he is a fantastic player.
