die hard doonhamer
Well, that was disappointing. Will have to wait until September and The Ashes for my fix of live cricket this year.
Muzza81
Scotland PNG for me at Aberdeen.
peasy23
England 191-2 after just 25 overs, Morgan and Root well set and still plenty of batting to come.
peasy23
Another mini collapse from England as they lose 4 wickets for 50 runs, with 2 falling in the last over. Stokes and Woakes now at the crease.
peasy23
Not the best end for England here. Nice 6 by Curran though. Aye, struggled after Morgan and Root went, Willey and Curran did well to get the score up to 350.Wicket down for Pakistan in the first over.
peasy23
And quickly fell to 6-3.
Savage Henry
If Pakistan were competent in the field they'd have strolled that game.Hmm.
peasy23
England name their final squad today. From the provisional 15 man squad last month you would expect Vince would be the replacement for Hales. Bigger question is who drops out to let Archer in. If they decide to keep Denly as an extra spin option then imo it's a straight choice between Curran and Willey, personally I would go for Curran of those 2. What yesterday showed though is that pace might be as big a factor as spin, and they have more than enough batting to leave Denly out and keep both Curran and Willey.

FuzzyBear
Will someone tell the Scotland bowlers every time they bowl short they are getting hit all over the ground.
peasy23
Eoin Morgan (captain) Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Jos Buttler (wk), Tom Curran, Liam Dawson, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, James Vince, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood Willey and Denly miss outDawson a wee bit of a surprise as he didn't play in any of the warm up games, but they obviously felt a proper back up spinner was needed instead of relying on part timers like Root or Denly.

peasy23
Josh Davey had a cracking opening spell in the one day cup final for Somerset. Took a couple of early wickets going for 28 runs from his first 8 overs.
Lichtie78
AUCC have Stew Mel 67-8 at Lochlands. Was going to head round for the run chase but won’t bother now
FuzzyBear
Doesnt make any difference but that decision to give Steve Smith out is a shocker. Commentators are astounded.
Jupiter Jazz
Somerset finally get over the line and win something. Very pleasing. Liking the new England kit. Sky blue eh?
peasy23
Afghanistan getting a humping here, 92-7 after 24.3 overs.
peasy23
Brilliant reaction catch at slip by Stokes gives Root another wicket and Rashid a first ball duck, 92-8.
peasy23
The Afghans made it up to 160 but that shouldn't pose any problems for England. 3 wickets for Archer, 3 for Root and Adil Rashid got a few overs under his belt.
