I know conspiracy theorists and amateur detectives think this is all just harmless fun, but in my mind accusing parents of murdering or hiding an accidental overdose of their child on utterly shit or invented evidence is a lot worse than that, not so far from the parents of kids murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School being accused of lying about it ever happening.

My ex used to work in admin for the NHS and filed staff expenses forms. She once got one for Gerry claiming £1.20 back for an ice cream cone bought on a business trip (I cannot confirm whether this was a 99 before you ask) not saying this points towards him killing his own child but does point out he was a tight b*****d.

I looked it up when you said Gerry had never played golf, turns out you misremembered, and he played every Monday at his local club.

I'm not going to search through hundreds of files looking for their links to the very highest levels of government and security services both private and state.

As much as you find it distasteful, it's not really comparable to Sandy Hook.

For the parents it wouldn't be much different. Worse for the McCanns in a way because it's not clear cut for everyone but the clinically insane, or psychotically greedy like Alex Jones.

I admitted I was mistaken about that, and that he told the police he hadn't been to the particular golf club in question. It's possible I read that he said he didn't play golf while in Portugal and misremembered that as him saying he didn't play golf period. 

if you're going to demand evidence and sources, then just ignore them when they're handed to you out of sheer laziness, then I don't see any point in engaging you further in this thread.

There’s some amount of utter weirdos on this thread. The popularity of true crime documentaries in recent years appears to have made absolute morons think they’re hot-shot detectives and specialist murder investigators. Really creepy stuff.

I like to think I'd have risen through the ranks to at least Head of the Detective thing had I chosen that path. Just the same as I would have had I chosen virology, epidemiology, history, race relations etc.

Could go back and forward about the innocence or guilt over the disappearance of Maddie all day but what infuriates me is why haven’t they been charged with the crimes we know they committed!!! Directly or most likely indirectly they are at fault for the disappearance, if they acted like responsible adults and had the kids with them this would never of happened. Or maybe some of these theories are correct either way they need to live with this everyday for the rest of their lives.
