Loki
A Binocular - Kauto Star Double would have paid 11/1 today. Kauto was brilliant again today.
trainspotter
A Binocular - Kauto Star Double would have paid 11/1 today. Kauto was brilliant again today. Had both but not as a double. That'lldoboy falling at the last when well placed and Bene Lad losing by a nose were today's hard luck stories.

VillaKnollBoy
I had Carruthers when he won the Hennessey, so sticking with him today in the Welsh National, in the hope that he can carry the extra 6lbs that he has been raised in the handicap. Should relish the going and it may pay to be a front runner here. Hollow Tree in the 2.45 at Chepstow also. Looks the one to beat IMO, although unlike Carruthers, the ground may catch him out.

trainspotter
Despite the BBC website giving 5th place to Viking Blond, it appears as if I've got my place on Cannington Brook (Paddy Power doing top 5). I missed the bit where it was backed down to 2ndJF though.

Well done with Hollow Tree, looks like a promising type. Carruthers didn't really get into it. Had Cappa Bleu myself who did well to finish 3rd. Got Tiger Maguire in the 3.50 at Chepstow in my lucky 15.
Mak QOSFC
Had a £10 Binocular - Kauto double but only got 9-1 at hills.

Aye, I agree regarding Hollow Tree, looks like he could make a wee bit of an impression at the Festival come March, battled on gamely after being headed. Timmy Murphy seemed impressed by him in his post race interview. Carruthers got taken on at the start and wasn't able to impose himself on the race, as he normally tries to take the race to the field. Had a wee treble on the football as well yesterday, so a decent day, all in all.

Cityfan
Very Well Red tonight What a humongous c**t I am Went to bet on it there, but the last at Kempton was 15 minutes ago, so it's already ran (and already lost).
magic sign
Oliver Brady has just been on ATR telling viewers to get on Takestan at Fairyhouse on Sunday "because he won't get beat". Only one win from 34 over fences and I can see no reason why he's making such bold statements but he seemed very confident.
DJP
Very Well Red tonight I sadly wasted £20 on it. Earlier in day I picked Karate at 20/1. But due to it clashing with VWR i didnt back Karate. Karate went on to win at 10/1.
