Shame only 7 runners so not even a place if you went e/w Never done it e/w because the field was only 7. It came to two out very stylish but never stayed the extra furlong. Once dropped back to 6 I think you'll see it winning soon. It was 3rd to a very decent horse of Karl Burke's who has just been placed in a group 3 in France today following on from a win in a listed race on Derby day at Epsom. I backed the winner when it ran on Saturday at Carlisle only to see it run down on the line. It ran today and despite jinking right across the course today losing half a dozen lengths (at least) it romped to an 11l success...I give up. Not often that I get or post tips, but had one today from a mate. He was in Vegas for the Hatton fight a few months back, and he got friendly with a couple over there. Playing cards going for drinks all that jazz. Turns out the guys trains for Howard Johnson. Anyway he sends my mate a text whenever he has a decent sort going out. He has had one so far that won on saturday, but at quite a short price. Today he has been given a tip in the 4:30 @ Pontefract. Johnsons runner: "ETON RIFLES". The guy that trains it said it loved the soft ground when it won last time out, and apparently the rain is coming down at Ponte.
