That's one of the major problems with the internet is that nutters like this woman can spout their rubbish.

I've just been reading that for a few minutes and for the life of me i can't figure out what the hell her point is.

I hope none of the families involved see the site though. Extremely distasteful.

Probably just as well, judging from the comments so far!

If you don't know what it's about, how do you know it's distasteful?

I know what it's about. She reckons there's a cover up and conspiracy relating to Hamilton's past.

I just don't know what the actual point of her doing it is. She says herself there is no doubt whatsoever that he committed the murders. In view of that, i think it's distateful.

Fair enough, but I think if she has any *reasonable* suspicion that there's a cover-up then a website's probably a good way to go about revealing it.

I haven't actually read the site, she could be a batshit psycho attention seeker for all I know.

I'm not going to click on that site at work but is the crux of the 'conspiracy' theory that Hamilton was a Mason and used his Masonic connections to ensure he kept his gun licence, despite the fact that he was a renowned nutcase? One of the connections I have heard rumoured is an ex-Labour government minister. Some of the documents presented to the inquiry into the incident were withheld for 100 years or something which caused further rumour. I think that these have since been released and contain nothing controversial.

Quick Summary - as far as I can glean.

Dunblane Unburied is the sole mission of one Sandra Uttley who amongst other things claims to be writing a book about the appalling events at Dunblane Primary School.

Although she does state that she accepts that Thomas Hamilton committed the offences, her mission is more directed towards a cover up in respect of was Hamilton shot by a marksman rather than he committed suicide.

This "allegation" is based on her premise that Hamilton was followed by police to Dunblane that morning (having been under surveillance for sometime) in the hope that they would "catch him in the act".

She claims that when this plan went horribly wrong the Police launched a massive cover-up.

The crux of her argument seems to be:

1) The first person on-scene was on the off-duty policeman (who was there dropping his kid off at nursery). He was not named and gave very little evidence. Ms Uttley claims his presence was part of the conspiracy. It was this policeman that called 999 and was the only person on-scene when the first ambulance arrived.

2) The differences between the account of the off-duty policeman (and his presence) first on the scene and the Scene of Crime Officer/firearms specialist - namely the number of guns/holsters and positions bullet holes differ between accounts. She claims the SOCO was responsbile for the crime scene and tampered with the evidence to make it look like suicide. I think my missus would agree that the first person on-scene usually gives the least accurate version of events due to shock etc.

As for Ms Uttley's connection with the tragedy, she was an Technician/Paramedic (accounts differ) at Callander Ambulance station and relieved some of the crews that had attended the scene. Her ex-long term partner lost his daughter. He believed there was a conspiracy too, but in recent years though, he has said he longer believes this and has dis-associated himself with Ms Uttley (you'll find plenty of character assassination of him on her website). Although she calls herself a "former resident of Dunblane" and believes she should be told "the truth" for this reason, it might be worth noting that she is in fact English and moved to Scotland in later life.

Graduation - I can't be arsed with it again.

I binned my MSc graduation because 1) I'd done it all before and 2) most of the folk on the course were w**ks.

My Dad was a bit upset with me apparently

I skipped my Msc graduation also.....

I didn't bother with my honours graduation. Dressing like a twat to get a bit of paper never really appealed to me!

It was good in the end actually. Not as much of a laugh as the BSc one but great to see my old class mates and my old flat mate again.

Got wasted and missed my train to Inverness this morning but eventually got a later one.

I'm sorry, perhaps I do need to get a life, but these signs really do get on my wick - What exactly are they supposed to be telling me (apart from the bleeding obvious)?

Apparently, the child on board one is there in case of a serious crash, so the rescue crew know there is a kid on board, and act quicker.
