For years, even as an adult, I convinced myself ML was Monklands ie Airdrie and Coatbridge. It never occurred to me Motherwell etc were also ML.

Had a friend who thought similarly about Kelty, was taken aback when I suggested KY was for Kirkcaldy.

I know the KY postcode area covers more than Kirkcaldy, but it's named KY after Kirkcaldy, not Kelty, no? Just in the same way ML is Motherwell, not Monklands.

I'm absolutely paranoid about that dry socket. This morning when I woke up there was a bit of congealed blood around the hole which came loose and I'm paranoid that that was the clot that has been dislodged.
