Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

The Mrs is away with the youngest this morning and the eldest is at school. This is the first time in 5 years I've been able to come home to an empty house and go for a sleep before work (because I'm a lazy b*****d) and today I have a midshift rather than a backshift so I start at 12. Rather than getting a couple of good hours kip I'll be up in an hour and a bit for a shower.

Probably more suited for the First World Problems thread right enough.

I’m no expert, but I reckon that we could put a big dent in climate change by stopping Boots giving you 4 different bits of paper as well as your receipt every time you buy something

..and the receipts you get at the self-serve terminals at WH Smiths. Even folded over, they poke out when you slip them into the one magazine you've bought.

One up the ladder and 10 telling him to turn it one way, 10 the other and 10 opening all the windows and turning up the radiators. And ten phoning electricians because it's far too dangerous.

Plus an ambulance crew attending to Shandon.

Google probably knows more about my likes and dislike than anyone on earth. So why does its mapping service continually highlight bed and breakfasts instead of pubs?

It assumes you know where all the pubs are, but need help finding somewhere to sleep it off?
