My Doonhamer  wife uses 'gan' in pretty much every sentence. She also refers to elbows as 'elbees', pillows as 'pillees', and Mousewald as Moos'l . . .

I apparently married a hillbilly.

I still love her though.

I'm sure your mum and dad are proud of you both.

In teaching, if you're good at working with difficult classes, you're then only ever given difficult classes.

You can apply that to almost anything. If you're willing to accept the shitty jobs, it'll be shitty jobs for you forevermore.

Sewage workers should be on footballers' wages.

"Windows has updated the shite browser you never use to something that might be less shite, but you'll still never use it".

Infuriating when websites/services will only work with whatever Microsoft call their shit browser these days. It still happens surprisingly often.

I was amazed to discover recently that a colleague was still using Explorer. In 2020.

She was complaining about slow performance of various programs (most notably Teams and other Microsoft applications) and how loads of other hings would barely, or simply not, work.

After my incredulity had subsided I suggested she bin Explorer and use Chrome.

She's been using Chrome since and was saying what a huge difference it was making.

Crazy that anyone still uses Explorer unless it's for a very specific purpose.

Pretty sure I've still got a PC with Netscape 4.0 installed somewhere. I'd imagine most remote server would send back this image if I tried to use it.

I listen to the news on either Radio Teuchter or Radio Bore and I'm getting fed up with the same kind of reporting which is usually some member of the public whining about not getting something or other. It keeps reminding me of Homer Simpson and his "can't someone else do it". I just wish that for once a reporter would say "shut the f**k up, 1st world problem c**t".

I'm turning into a swivel eyed carpet chewing libertarian at this rate

We were decorating a few weeks back and had the radio on various stations. Every one of them did the same kind of advertisement: "the best music blah blah etc, This Is *insert station name here*". What is the purpose of this? We're aware of the station we are listening to, why the hell do they need to keep telling you?

It makes the 'news' more relatable and maintains listeners.

Probably designed with channel hoppers in mind.

Also advertising purposes.

I did think advertising but a lot of the time it was just the show name rather than "brought to you by..." It probably isn't that annoying. I was just annoyed because I was decorating.

Your first mistake was having such radio stations on.

First thing anybody should be doing when they get a PC or laptop is install Chrome or Firefox. The fuckers at Microsoft have given IE a new name, trying to disguise it's inherent shiteness by calling it "Edge". It's still as slow as a week in jail.FB_IMG_1592441693136.jpg
