Only time mines is plugged in a charger and immobile is at night when I'm sleeping. Fail. I actually have a wee rechargeable case I got for just 8 pounds and if it is ever close to zero I just turn it on it's braw. They can't even set-up their keyboard in a sensible fashion. Given that you had to make the purchase in order to do your job, and would not have had to buy it had it not been for your job, it would seem reasonable for you to reclaim your costs from your workplace.
