Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

Does anyone actually like the Children In Need lineups? They should cut the TV performances short by a certain time depending on how much is donated

Mrs Pete likes it <_< However. she's just off nightshift so might not be interested.

Just jammed my finger in my window, then 2 minutes later banged my head off my desk. I'm not having a good day! :(

That hardly constitutes a bad day.

Five News.

What the f**k are they on about? Their reporting is slack and sensationalist, their stories are guff and some of their closing lines are fucking chronic, then their "and finally..." stories almost bring my rage to apocalypse levels.

Why are you watching Five anyway? It was good when you were 14 and they had Confessions Of... or Emmanuelle or some other soft core delight on on a friday, but that's all gone now!

I used to love Channel 5 when it first started... Family Affairs, baseball and soft porn. Hello.

Family Affairs was brilliant. I remember it was on half 6 every night or something.

The worst thing about Channel 5 is that horrible early evening programme with Ian Wright, Melinda Messenger, and the bird from The Apprentice.

They'll 'discuss' a news story of the moment, to which Wright will invariably splutter,

"Yeah, y'know, I don't fink he shoulda did that, but y'know, thats only my opinion, innit?"

All three fall into their comfort zone when the necessity of talking about the news is over, and they start waxing lyrical on The X Factor or whatever 'dancing' type show is on the other side at the time. I don't see it that often, but it's on after Home & Away, which the wife watches, so it's almost impossible to miss in this house.

It's absolutely fucking shite.

b*****ds. bloody b*****ds.

Well yes, actually. Delivery cost £3.50, and I chose the window of 2-4 because it fitted well with my schedule today. What would you suggest I'd have done if I had to go out somewhere for 5pm? They would have then tried to charge me twice for a redelivery. If they were so busy between 2 and 4, their website should have prevented me from choosing that timeslot. As it happens, I received my groceries considerably later than I had anticipated.

Me and Toma must have the same kind of mates.

Default Question: ''Fancy doing something tonight?''

Friend 1: ''Taking (girlfriends name) out for dinner.

Friend 2: ''Nah, no the night, got plans''

Friend 3 (female): ''Baysitting, but I promise I woulda came out''

Friend 4: ''Got plans tonight''.

So, friend 2 and friend 4 are going somewhere together, I presume. Or all four are going out together and no-one invited me :( Mind you they are in Fife and I'm in Edinburgh. <_< Am so paranoid, man.

So it's just me, Generation Kill, 12'' pepperoni and a few bottles of Bud. Might trash the place.

People are c***s. Maybe we should be friends. You like Larry David, so that's a start.

I know what your saying. Maybe I didn't have to exagerate. Argos give you ridculous times. Last week they said they would arrive between 9am and 6pm :o
