Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

I just found out this week that ceiling fans have two settings - summer and winter. Summer is clockwise to pull the heat up and winter is anti-clockwise to push it back down. The switch is on the casing above the blades.

Minds blown all over the shop.

That reminds me, I'm going to drain a bath at some point and see if this water going counter-clockwise to the opposing hemisphere is a myth or not.

It's a myth. I checked this in Japan a few weeks ago, it went clockwise.

I just checked and mine went anti-clockwise. Japan is in the northern hemisphere so as far as I'm concerned it's fo' real.

Who was the Falkirk fan who bragged about having multiple tellies?

Surely not the same one as the one with multiple fans?

I had tried to get rid of my old tv a few years ago but the remote was fcked, couldn’t turn it down...

Apparently if you are seriously drunk and the room starts spinning - it actually spins the other way.

Not really sure I want to test that though.

ApparentlyI if you are absolutely blitzed and the room starts spinning then it stops suddenly you fly out the window.
