Im not saying if the opportunity came up again that I wouldnt...but it aint gonna happen, she's a friend! (Damn your insighful thoughts.) Can you not give her the 2nd ticket and her go with someone else and you go to the game?then the 2 of you can do something together in couple weeks? Nah, its not the same, Im not going to let her down! I invited her originally and it would be pretty low. At the moment I'd say your probably 50/50 for game/gig. An Sionnach Posted April 20, 2007 Share Posted April 20, 2007 I got an unpleasant shock this morning. The Wharf Pub in Yoker Ferry Road..... .....has been totally burnt out. Coincidentally, this listed building has just been bought by the construction company that are building new luxury houses right next to it. Rumour has it that some of their construction workers sneaked into the pub last night and torched it, rather than have the inconvenience of going through planning permission process for demolishing a listed building. If that's true.......They're SCUM! I spent many a happy hour there, sitting on the sun terrace, enjoying the food, drink and good company.
