Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

Ok, I think that clarifies things, cheers both of you, I knew wee geek and wiki geek wouldn't let me down! :D

I go to Madrid a couple of times a year, that's how I know. I go to watch Getafe.

If you happen to still be there in a week and a half's time you should go and see them. Their ground is on MetroSur, i.e. dead easy and cheap to get to from anywhere in Madrid.

There's a trouser press in my room, but not an iron. Anyone know if its feasible to try ironing a shirt in a trouser press?

Oh, and what British time is it. I have absolutely no idea whether its half seven, half 6 or half 8 here.

did someone hold your hand to take you through the airport, cause if you have to ask questions like this then it sounds like you needed it???

I'm just here for a week for work related purposes. Its too hot for me to comfortably cope, thank god for 4* hotel rooms with super powered air conditioning!

Even after all the travel I've done over the years, I specialise in looking befuddled and lost! :D

A hotel of any substance will either provide an iron and ironing board in the room or have an ironing "room" located somewhere on one of the floors.

Failing that, phone reception and ask them to get housekeeping to bring one to your room.

I think I'll do that! They have an absurdly pricey ironing service, but you're right, I'll just ask at reception.

In that case you should really stay at home because you are not befuddled and lost, you're a fucking halfwit.

1. Start a sentence properly.

2. ...with a capital letter

3. Use the correct form.

4. In this case, its appropriate to end the sentence with a full stop.

I wouldn't be so fussy normally, but if you're going to insult my intelligence, then I am going to comment on posts that look like they were mashed out with your forehead.

madrid

Look: get on the underground to Piramides, walk around to the Vicente alderon, and go in. Atletico are about to KO against APOEL and it's virtually empty. I bet it's cheap to get in, and itr's a stadium everyone should see at least once (it's getting torn down in a year or two.)
