One of them is, yes.

Apologies for the schadenfreude, but I really hope it's the first one.

Didn't the creator actually come out and say a few years ago that it's pronounced JIF?

Who gives a toss. He doesn't get to decide.

He'd have been as well saying, "actually, it's pronounced Throatwobbler Mangrove".

Surely Herbalife isn't still going?

It's bigger than ever, and worldwide.

(in case anyone's keeping score, yes, John Oliver is my only source of news)

As a weight loss programme Herbalife obviously works. However it doesn't provide you with any knowledge or experience of how to eat healthier long term, so people put weight back on, restart Herbalife, rinse and repeat.

As a "business" it is a classic MLM scheme where, unless you are an early adopter or have the reach of an "influencer", it's an absolutely abysmal option for making money, and relies on you spamming your friends and family in the hope they give in to shut you up.

Needless to say we didn't bother. 2 years down the line, we've lost nearly 5 stones between us

We need details on this Philpy. Kenny Dalglish and I have a 102 caps for  Scotland between us.

Virtually everything works as a weight loss programme BTW, assuming you stick to it. I did the keto thing for a year and lost about 50lb. The problem with all of it is that it doesn't train you for life when you reach your target weight and want to start eating normally again. You just put the weight back on.

Also, Herbalife and it's products are an absolute classic scam of the type that should be illegal, so don't do that. Seven levels down from the guy at the top and everyone in the entire world would have to be a Herbalife seller for newbies not to lose money. Even these guys worked that out years ago.

Mods, please

Grotesque use of the wrong term. On an actual football forum of all places. Should be an instant ban tbqhwy.

To avoid any issues in future @BFTD, simply use the correct terminology of 'keep net'.

I blame my American links.

The phrase 'goaltender' is still burned into my brain from watching ESPN.

Edit: today's PTTGOYN - websites that generate prices based on your IP address location, and give no way of changing currency.

To quote a famous song, you can stick your Swedish Krona up your arse.

That's what VPNs are for, brother.

It's the VPN that's making things turn up in Krona!

Bollocks to stopping my horrifying pornographic downloads just to check prices on a shitey British website that doesn't contain horrifying pornography.

Asshole TV political reporters reporting from Downing St who shout out ridiculous "are you going to resign, Prime Minister ??" or "will you be cutting VAT, Chancellor ??" at any of the current incumbents going in or out to get their voices heard by their channel viewers.  It's normally followed by "he/she declined to reply".

It's cringy at best.

Not just the ones who stalk politicians.

f**k hanging about in the cold for hours to yell "did you murder your daughter?" at bereaved parents.

100% I get paid in baht ฿ I pay everything in  ฿, but for some unknown reason, I like to see the prices (if big in £).

Which is a sorry downward scale. When I came her it was 79 ฿ to the 1£ now it 43฿ ☹️

Scrolling the transfer news on BBC Sport app to find 70% of the posts are about women's football. Aye, I know they're a public service broadcasting company (when it suits them) but I have no interest in it yet have to endure it been inextricably amalgamated with the football I want to read about.
